For $599 the HP Mini 210-1132TU has a processor that back in the day was above average, but by modern standards it's actually slower. It'd be still a worthwhile purchase for $250 or less, but for $599 it's possible to get a much faster modern netbook and still pocket over $200.
The 1132TU has an Intel Atom N475 (1.83GHz) processor that does well running Windows 7 Starter along with productivity applications. The onboard graphics and 1GB of RAM still limit you to casual games though, and with the exception of netbooks with AMD Fusion processors this is to be expected.
A 250GB hard drive is very typical, and while small it's rare to find larger given the form factor of the netbook. The 10.1in (1,024x600 resolution) screen may be small, but for the tasks you’ll be doing it’s sufficient. This netbook weighs 1.36kg, and measures 28.3mm thick, 178mm deep, and 268mm wide.
