Before i proceed, as per all suggestions, I would recommend to backup your system or use with caution as all computers configurations are different but it has worked on my two computers.
How to Solve Firefox 3.5 Slow Startup
As per previously shared, the current temporary solution is to delete away Firefox cookies and temp files. For your convenience, I have consolidated it into a .bat file and you can download batch file to clean up your temporary files and folders. Simply double click and let it run. If you have suspicion about this file, you can scan the download file here or you can right click and edit to see the contents inside.
Alternatively, for your slow start of firefox 3.5, you can consider this method of deleting temporary files automatically. You can read more about how to auto delete temp folder or how to speed up your Firefox 3.5. Hopefully a more permanent solution will be ready in the next release. Till then.
