For $394 the MSI U160DX is soundly beaten by newer netbooks that cost less but have better overall specs, including an Intel Atom N550. Really, it should cost $250 or less if it's going to compete in the current netbook market.
The U160DX has an Intel Atom N455 (1.66GHz) processor that ensures a good experience when you use Windows 7 Starter. As with all netbooks you get onboard graphics and 1GB of RAM, which at this price is what’s to be expected.
A 160GB hard drive could be increased to 250GB, but either way for a netbook that’s a decently large amount of storage. The 10.1in (1,2024x600 resolution) screen may be tiny, but it lets the netbook weigh a mere 1kg. It’s physically small as well, measuring 25.4mm thick, 165mm deep, and 265mm wide.
