The Dell Mini 10 TV S560622AU1 is very unique thanks to the integrated TV tuner, but for $599 the overall package is let down by the small hard drive. A 160GB hard drive will very rapidly fill up if you record even moderate amounts of TV.
An Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor will be enough to run the TV tuner, and it has the computing power needed for office or Uni work. Onboard graphics and 1GB of RAM do allow for some basic casual gaming.
What’s unfortunate is the 160GB hard drive. Recording TV directly onto your netbook is one of the main benefits of having a TV tuner, but 160GB will quickly become inadequate unless you invest in a portable hard drive. The 10.1in (1,024x600 resolution) screen should do the job for watching TV, but it may be a bit small for many users. The Dell 10 TV is vey portable though, as it weighs 1.33kg and measures 32.8mm thick, 197mm deep, and 268mm wide.
